Home and Away

Hey people! Well when it comes to long running series like Home and Away, there is bound to be a number of new faces you will see joining the cast every few years as the older faces move ahead with their careers and families. And now the show is just facing one of these events. Celeste Dodwell is the latest one who is calling it quit to the sets of Home and Away. The nineteen year old star, who joined the cast in March last year, and landed the role of Melody Jones, has stated her further studies as her reason for leaving Home and Away. Reportedly, Celeste would be moving to London later this year to study drama and that is why she is unable to continue with her role in the series. According to Celeste, working in Home and Away had been like a dream coming true and when her agent called her up with the offer, last year, she did not give it a second thought before accepting. Celeste Dodwell has announced about her decision only days after the producers decided to cut down the character of her co-star Conrad Coleby, who plays Roman, who the producers feel has run his course.

Well, I am surely going to miss the two young stars on my favorite show, Home and Away. But I sincerely wish that they both grow much beyond what they have achieved and reach the new heights of talent and fame. As for Home and Away, it is not the first time that fans have to bear the pain of saying goodbye to one of their favorite characters. Over the last two decades of its run the series has seen many new faces which come and go.  But then, as they say, the show must go on. And we will soon get adjusted to not seeing any more of either Conrad or Celeste on the show. However, both of them will always be remembered for their great contribution to Home and Away. This longest running drama series of Australian television is currently airing its Season 22 and I am sure there will be a lot more seasons in the future!
