How can the creators of the show possibly think of doing without Charlie Buckton (Esther Anderson)?

While some might have already experienced a jittery feeling this is what a prominent newspaper has claimed regarding the cast of the show.

All those who watch Home and Away online would be shocked to know that Esther Anderson might have called it quits at the show.

As per the news item the 32-year-old star is looking forward to kick start her career in Hollywood and that’s the probable reason behind her farewell.

Does that mean that it would be Charlie-less download of the forthcoming batches in near future?

I’m afraid to say, that is what it seems to be like at least under the given circumstances.

In midst of umpteen speculations hovering around the exit of Charlie the producer of show, Cameron Welsh is in no mood to accept this widely spread buzz.

He actually took to twitter trying to explain to fans that he hasn’t come across the paper and that he would not like to comment on cast rumors.

There are two sets of people - one who want to shrug work at all costs and the others, who are simply workaholics.

Actor Ray Meagher certainly comes under the second category and we do appreciate his fervor, especially at this age.

At 67, he seems to be going as strong and as enthusiastically as ever, and doesn’t want to retire.

Congrats sir, as we certainly seem to draw inspiration from that indomitable spirit of yours!

He has been portraying the part of Alf Stewart in the soap opera, Home and Away since 1988 and as his contract with the show is about to end next year, the veteran actor expressed his desire that he is in no mood to hang up his boots, as of now.

It seems that not only the actor, but even his fans, have gotten accustomed to his role; so its fate now lies entirely into the hands of the script-writer and those behind the show.

This drama has made for a compulsive watch, as it dealt with those issues, on which one would rather wish to keep mum.

This woman was indeed made of rock (or something of that sort) for despite undergoing numerous tumults in her life, she treads along gleefully, as if nothing devastating ever took place in her life!

Ada Nicodemou, the actress who played Leah, indeed made a special place in the hearts of audience, as she portrayed a role that goes through surrogacy, racial riots, and what not!

Lightening the mood was the factor related to the photograph that’s being circulated as ‘the self-proclaimed tummy act’ by Ms. Nicodemou!

The photograph shows Ada coming out of a Pilates class and rubbing her tummy, reflecting some sort of uneasiness! She is being accompanied by her ‘Home and Away’ co-star, Lynne McGregor.

One can only wonder if Ada is expecting a baby or her stomach is upset, though the more acceptable hypothesis in this case could be burns!

At least this is what happened with actor Axle Whitehead recently. Since the news did garner headlines, I thought of apprising you with the same.

Axle had turned up for the Swans’ Forward Pocket function and was being accompanied by other Channel 7 stars, like Daniel Macpherson and Sarah Cumming.

Initially, everything went off well as Mr. Whitehead turned out to be a supporter of the game, but things started becoming awry the moment Axle entered into loggerhead with a few fans in the vicinity.

Not only was he alleged of making lewd comments, showing the wrong finger and yelling out all sort of names, he was also under the effect of excessive intake of alcohol that made the situation seemingly difficult to control!

He attributed the slang of ‘Di**heads’ to fans out there. Something as blasphemous like this wasn’t expected from an actor like Axle Whitehead.

Moreover, his on-screen persona speaks otherwise.

If you ever go for Home and Away download, you’ll be surprised by the contrast available out there. Axle’s character Liam comes forth as a man, who takes everything in his stride, even if his girlfriend Bianca decided to enter into nuptials with someone else.

While Axle’s representative, Denise Roberts tried to cover it all up by offering the explanation that Axle was incited to behave in such a rustic way by one of the female fans.

Sonia Todd, the actor who played Gina Austin, recently expressed her wish to be a part of a pantomime act!

Well, that certainly sounds interesting and relaxing

But it seemed as if she was in full mood and ready to divulge everything. She almost did when she said singing was a sort of an Achilles’ heel for her. I guess putting on those expressions without moving your mouth comes pretty easy, eh??

Never mind, because she plans to make up for this weakness of hers. So what if she could not sing, she’s very good at producing that evil cackle!

This has been one of the shows that have become an inseparable part of our lives, for, it in fact, mirrors the very happenings taking place in the society, without befuddling you with any of those mirages!

Watch Home and Away online and witness an intriguing tale that encompasses all issues of primary concern - be it sexuality, homophobia, alcoholism, rape, racism, drug addiction, incest or child abuse – all these topics, sensitive enough to spark a controversy, were handled adeptly by the makers of the show.

A rather sordid tale that unravels another dark facet of human beings began in 1988, and what continues to propel us into the download mode is the very way that it brings forth a side of human psyche that is unpredictable and seldom follows the same line, no matter what might be construing.

Well, we do understand sweetie, and we seriously can’t express our sense of elation in words!

As Emily split a few beans for our sake, here is what we got from the lady - Marilyn would be caught up in a hassled situation, arising due to George’s real parents, Nicole and Angelo, asking for the custody of their kid.

Alas! Marilyn and Sid would have to undergo the worst emotional upheaval, before they emerge out of this pandemonium that threatens to shatter their haven.

With Emily back on the floor, we would be looking forward to the show with unfazed curiosity, that’s for sure!

The name ‘Colleen Smart’ instantly spurs an image of an endearing old woman, who albeit eccentric, is everyone’s favorite momma. Lyn Collingwood has been playing the role for nearly 12 years now, and has adopted a slight shade of her personality in her own.

The veteran actress talks about her experiences on the show, candidly revealing her thoughts on the character. Lyn says that she absolutely loves playing the character of Colleen, yet admits that there are times when she feels that the vocabulary that she uses is kind of funny, and wishes she could change it.

She further admits that there are times when she laughs at the character of Colleen, and there are several points at which she disagrees with her viewpoint. Nonetheless, it’s the role that defines her, and she tries her best to make her believable. Anyone who watches Home and Away episodes would agree that she does a great job at it!

Lyn makes an extra effort in the depiction of the character, saying that she tends to talk faster when she’s playing Colleen, since she believes that the quick speed compliments her personality. While that leaves the question of whether or not she loves the character she plays at an ambiguous point, the next question that’s shot at Lyn is whether she would let Colleen bring up her daughter.
Now that one should make things clear!

But Lyn stays true to her diplomatic nature, saying that even though she knows that the expected answer is a ‘no’, yet she’ll answer with a ‘yes’. She goes on to defend her character by saying that there’s no other character on the show that she thinks would make an ideal mother. She added that even though there would be some initial problems with Colleen, they would eventually work them out. Now that’s like an actress loyal to the character she plays! Good job Lyn!
